Hydrocele is a disorder in boys, in that there is a type of fluid collected around one or both of the testicles inside the scrotum.
This disorder can be divided into two types.
- It can occur while the baby is inside the mother’s womb. (Congenital Hydrocele)
- Any age type (Acquired Hydrocele)
It looks like a small fluid-filled balloon inside the baby’s scrotum, and the testicles are soft and painless.

Boys born prematurely are more likely to develop Hydrocele.
Depending on the type of Hydrocele, the swelling of the testicle is sometimes small and sometimes large.

Reasons
