Dr S. Namasivayam, M.B.B.S., D.C.H., started “Shiva Hospital” as a pediatric hospital in the 1960s.
He had a unique mark in pediatrics and was known as a “Kyrashi” doctor. In the year 1975, he got to see a “Medical miracle” through one of his patients.
Asthma was one of the many diseases listed as incurable according to his Allopathic medical system knowledge and his own experience. His patient, a 10-year-old who had been suffering from asthma since birth, was completely cured by homeopathy.
With that surprise, the search began for what is special in the Homeopathy system of medicine, and that was not in his system.
He brought homeopathic books and medicines from Delhi and Calcutta. He understood the principles and efficacy of Homeo medicine and started giving Homeo medicines to his patients. After some period, he whole heartily experiences the healing of incurable diseases and also began to perform many medical miracles.
His misconceptions about alternative medicine changed completely. He felt confident that alternative medicine like Homeo, Siddha, and Ayurveda would get proper recognition in the future.
He admitted his son Dr. Muthaian to medical college and became a homeopath.
Dr. Muthaian, D.H.M.S., M.D [ Hom ]., started “Shiva Health Clinic” in the year 1991. Along with the dedication of like-minded medical friends from all medical disciplines, under his leadership, explored and implemented the integrated medical philosophy, which was upgraded as a medical research centre called “Shiva Health Clinic and Research Centre”
Now, based on integrative medicine which will rule the medical world in the future, integrate the AYUSH and all other systems of medicine, and serve as a research hospital “Shiva Ayush Hospital and Research Centre” that heals mankind with humanity
